Vilje Bionics has been granted funds from the Sophies Minde Foundation to further develop the aid through a 15-month project. The goal of the project is to improve the usability of the aid, to ensure that it is both intuitive and safe to use. The project will explore different ways in which the user can control the aid. In this project, users will be involved from the start, through workshops, focus group meetings and trials. Implementation of this project, funded by the Sophies Minde Foundation, will be an important step towards completing the assistive device. It will also be an important step towards the exoskeleton being easy to use, safe to use, and thus be able to contribute to increased independence in everyday life for our users.
